What You’ll Do:
- Own our entire AWS infrastructure stack: K8s cluster, ES, RDS, Kinesis, 3 microservices (and growing), Terraform, Prometheus
- Own our CI/CD Pipeline: Github and Circle CI
- Work with backend and frontend engineers to support their infrastructure needs
- Measure and improve performance across all of our systems
Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years working professionally with distributed systems running in AWS: Kubernetes, Kinesis, ElasticSearch, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, RDS
- Comfortable working with a small team in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
- Experience in all stages of the Software Development Cycle from concept to production
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects
Preferred Skills:
- Experience writing Python, Rust and/or Go
- Experience developing highly scalable backend microservices in AWS
- Experience working with NLP, Spacy, and/or Huggingface
